Exciting news is on the horizon at the Birchington Veterans Association! On International Women’s Day, March 8th, they will be launching the first Thanet Female Veterans group. This inaugural meeting will gauge interest and lay the foundation for future gatherings, providing a supportive space for female veterans to connect, share, and support each other.

Additionally, the Birchington Veterans Association hosts the Armed Forces Breakfast every last Saturday of the month at 9 am, held at Weatherspoons Ramsgate and organised by Kevin Hobbs. It’s a chance for veterans and supporters to come together over a hearty meal, swapping stories and building bonds over bacon and eggs.
